For as long as I can remember, I have had a fondness for seniors. They have so much insight and knowledge about the world. I have received many words of wisdom personally and professionally from those in their Golden Years. I started my nursing career in 1989 at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto. I learned so much from my critical care experience there. Because of my endearment for seniors, I gravitated towards patients needing palliative care. In addition to being an ICU nurse, I began working as a Hospice Nurse in 1991 at Kaiser Hospital in Walnut Creek. I then expanded my care for seniors when I began working with my mother in her care home business in 1993. I left Stanford shortly thereafter and focused on Hospice and managing Felipe Care Homes. My husband, Hayden, and I have had the opportunity to carry on the business after my mother retired in 2012. We treat our residents as our extended family and strive to provide the best care possible. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love to explore the outdoors. This includes camping, hiking, skiing, and travel.

In February 2015, I became part of Felipe Care Home Team. The best part of working here is creating relationships with my residents and their families. I have over 10 years of experience working with the elderly population having both hands on care and operation management. My goal every day is to make my residents smile and help them to continue living rich, fulfilling lives.

In my spare time, I like to exercise by running, reading novels, shopping, spending time with cats and anything that is good for the soul. I love to travel and getting lost in different cultures because I find joy reminiscing about the wonderful memories.
